going fishing
hitting the oso tomorrow morning... should be fun. i think TO was planning their road side cleanup that day... who knows, maybe i'll finally run into a member out there. aside from chris, i don't talk to any of them , much less know any of them.
talked to heather for a little... she was surrounded by family so i let her go so she could talk with them. some of my friends from work are goin paintballing tomorrow, and i would've like to have gone, but no cash. tomorrow will be fun though, i'll toss lures all morning... and if i'm there till after lunch time, and the wind isn't so bad, i'll go back and toss the net to get some live. well... yea that's all i'm off to bed... getting up in 6 hours... gg and g'nite.

visitors
My aunt and uncle came into town and brought my cousin's son with them. they were in SA visiting seaworld and decided to come down this way. so they are crashing here tonite. which is nice, its not often i get visitors here.
today was a boring day outside of their arrival. i went to class... ate some nuggz at mcd's and then stopped off to get my hair cut. after that i came home and decided it was time to clean the apt up some, good thing i did cuz they would've stopped in to a dirty apt. no good. so in the middle of cleaning i hear this knock at the door... i'm like... nah. so i kept on listening to my music and then i heard it louder so i got up and checked and saw them out the peephole. so i brought them in and showed them around the place... which took two seconds and we sat around for a bit and went off to the mall. stopped at dairy queen and got a blizzard and then drove around ocean drive for a bit. the wind was up so the bay was purty choppy. my little cousin wanted to go fishing and still does... if i had a say i'd take him out for a while, but they're already asleep, so oh well.
I think heather will be happy to know that i cut my hair and shaved... not totally. but i did trim it substantially. ok i lie, i havent' shaved yet, but that's the plan tomorrow morning b/c i didn't get a chance to do so today. i'll do it before/after i shower tomorrow before class. speaking of, i have a test in there tomorrow. should be easy, most of it has to do with history related things.
Tomorrow i work so no fishing tomorrow. heather just called so i'm out. gg

class then fish?

well lowe's just called and informed me that the orientation has been pushed back till august 30th. wow. another rough month for me with bills and such. hopefully biglots will pull thru in the clutch. i doubt it though.
meh... such is life. but you know what i can do about it?? i can fish. why? b/c it relaxes me and i enjoy it... even if i'm not catching.

well not really, but the customers make it suck... so there. basterds.
Heather informs me tonite is going to be a long nite b/c she intends to beat me at yahoo pool tonite... we'll see...

well like i said earlier, ppl are dumb. if its one thing i've learned from working in the "Real world" its that the customer is not always right, in fact the customer is AN IDIOT. heaven forbid you get the ones that think they have some knowledge and try to OUTSMART you. haha i laugh and almost get to the point where i want to applaud their foolish efforts... but then i just get pissed off b/c they wasted my time. so far my all time favorite customer saying is : "do you work here?" no... i wear the vest b/c it brings out my eyes... "Yes ma'am/sir" i say. "ok could you get something down for me?" no, get the ladder and get it your damn self fatass... "sure." "I looked around and i didn't see any on the floor... so... " "Let me take a look..." (walks away, comes back two seconds later) "ma'am/sir, they're right over here." "oh...ok" no 'thank you'? or something to that effect?? nope none at all. what ever happened to having manners??
so yea... i dunno... working with people is nice most of the time b/c they are nice for the most part. but now i'm just annoyed at the fact that the others don't seem to have any manners...but oh well its nothing to cry over... in fact, i'm not even sure why i typed all that. meh
family guy is on right now... so i'm going to watch it. if i feel it fit, i shall return to ramble on and on about other things.

back
went down to the valley on wednesday after my test. had a little trouble with the truck, my fuel filter got clogged so i was only going about 45 from after kingsville up until falfurrias. it sucked. but i got there in time to get to an oreilly's and get a new one. 2.05. that's what i spent to fix the prob. nice eh? anywho, got it changed and prayed that i tightened the fuel line correctly, i have this thing about bursting into flames on the highway... so i get down the road and notice the sky is getting darker and darker... nice i think... so it starts raining, not too bad... as i get closer to the valley it pours... so i slow down and keep on... lightning thunder, the whole bit.. keep going... then, i make it just to the edge of the storm, i mean i can see clear sky coming up... and this a-hole decides he's gonna cut me off from one of the crossovers... nice... i'm going 65 and he decides to cut out when i'm less than 30 ft from him. so, after nearly hitting him i gave him a nice "tap" on the horn and made my way to home. o yea, he didn't even have his freaking lights on... that's another reason i didn't see him. moron...
anywho, it was nice to be home for a while. just sit around and be around the family for a while. i prolly won't be able to do it for a while, so i have to enjoy it now. i have work today, but at 4pm. we are staying open till 10 today.. ugh for a sunday that's gonna suck. but oh well. so i go in at 4 and that's that. Heather comes back into town in about 2 weeks. its been a long summer... so finally she's coming back. that'll be nice. meh, i think i'm done typing, i forgot what i was going to "say" so o well... o yea
thursday nite, we had a fish fry, and it was good... flounder. reds. and trout. YUM. next time i go home though i'm going to have to stop off at the T heads and pick up some shrimp/crabs and then go home with the catch. speaking of catch... IF i don't work tomorrow, oso again. i have to make my gas stretch seeing as how i didn't pick up my check on friday... so oso it is. IF i dont' have to work. if i do... maybe holiday inn... any takers?

whew
went to class and was falling asleep... finally he got done with the boring lecture and i left to go fish... the question was, along JFK or the oso... decided to just stop at the oso... didn't feel all that much like driving anywhere today. cast netted some bait and put on the "wholly waders" and made my way to my "spot". it was nice being the only one on the water for a while... nobody bothering me by tossing their stupid live bait in front of me or to the side of me... oh wait, nevermind, that DID happen. some ppl have no respect i swear... and its not like he didn't have the rest of the bay to fish, cuz no one was out there... anywho, he did pass on and thankfully so...
everything was biting today, mangrove snapper... needlenose... catfish... southern kingfish (dirty croakers) specks, and reds... but no flounder??? yea, no flounder to speak of today... which was a shock. all those were caught on live, with the exception of the needlenose and some specks... they were caught on artificials... all in all a beautiful day to be out, no doubt... came home with a keeper 18" trout... would've had atleast 3 more on the stringer but they threw the bait out of their mouths before i could get them in... for some reason or another, the hook didn't stick. oh well... i know they're there. wednesday i'm off again, so i'm gonna hit up JFK this time. i think i've fished the oso too much this past week.
that is all.. time to clean the trout. werd up.
On a side note.... I OWN HEATHER WHEN IT COMES TO YAHOO POOL. I OWN YOU!!! I PWN JOO!!!

something smells
i think those redfish guts i threw in the trashcan yesterday forgot to make their way to the dumpster. so now the apt smells like crap. i went out yesterday to laguna shores rd. caught some bait and hit up the area behind the "island in the son" church going out towards port A. nothing was biting... talked to a guy on a yak out there and he said "should've been here this morning". 20 mins after he said that i was ready to go try another spot... went to the oso behind the school. since i'm wading by myself, i'll stick to a familiar place... it was either there or along the side of JFK. so i pull up and jump out already in my waders and grab my gear. i'm heading out while one guy was heading in , only looked like he had a couple trout... if that, i couldn't tell and didn't want to be obnoxious and ask him.
anywho, long story short, i set out some free lined mullet/perch and was rewarded with catches that included catfish (bleh) small trout and 2 nice sized reds that gave a hell of a fight. 24" and 25". not a bad day. came home and just had a crappy time there. but oh well... i'll go home sometime. hopefully. maybe thursday after class. or who knows, maybe weds after the test. we'll see. maybe fishing tomorrow morning b/c i have nothing else to do. and i have work at 2pm. so hell yea fishign tomorrow. rizzock.

eh?
just woke up. went fishing yesterday and only came home with one flounder. so total count is three in the freezer. nice. caught other small trout, but nothing big enough to keep. saw a BUNCH of jelly fish out there before the current was heading out to CC bay. and saw a couple of rays too. luckily they were swimming out to CC bay too. i guess i should've taken the hint and fished the CC bay side, but can't really do that with the construction workers there. anywho, fun day on the water... left early b/c i was dehydrated.
I have to work tonite so i dunno if i'll get any fishing in today. if i do, its not goin to be wading. i'll save it for tomorrow. i'm off from both school and work, so rizzock, i'm gonna go get me some live and start tossing it maybe hook up with a nice trout. we'll see... something smells in my apt. i have no clue what it could be, cna't be the dishes they're done. the fish guts were thrown out yesterday... so i dunno... maybe i'll find the culprit. i hope... well that is all for now. i'm out gotta get ready for class and such. gg

heading out today
Out fishing that is. I went out yesterday before work and managed 2 keeper flounder, about 15.5". not bad for 2 hours of fishing. caught the texas slam too... trout, red, flounder, but only the flounder were keepers. it was nice. DOA shrimp are the way to go. i love those lures. right up there with my red shad salt water assasins. Going to head out today after class and kill the afternoon out there. so if any one reads this, go on and fish with me, its boring out there. i was the only one in the water on the school side till 4:30 when i left. some other guys were wading by the bridge and noticed one hooked up with something nice, perhaps a red b/c of the length of time it took him to get it in. the fish are there, just need to five them something they want.
i worked yesterday so all is well. and for a split second i thought today was tuesday. meh. well i gotta study for a stupid test for that class... so after i'm done with the test, i am going to be forced to watch a video and write a paper on it. but the paper is for later. i'll be done with class by 1:30. rizzock.

Not so bad
Working yesterday morning and afternoon wasn't so bad. as long as i kept myself occupied with something i wasn't tired. hell i didn't even go to bed till 12 something. today i woke up feeling alright, so i guess it wasn't so bad. Class on the other hand was rough. trying to stay awake in that boring lecture... if you can even call it that. he thumbs through the book and talks about this and that... and oo that looks nice doesn't it? no... i wouldn't know i don't have a book. nor am i going to purchase one. this class sucks... you suck... and everyone in here is a brainless twit including myself for even thinking about taking this boring class. we'll see how easy it is on test day though, which is tomorrow. sooooooo TOMORROW guess who's going fishing after that craptastic class... that's right me. finally i'll get to fish like i want to... wading OSO bay. rizock!

I picked up two more shifts yesterday. so i'll have a nice check next week. this week's check is gonna be WEAK. oh well... the store wasn't making all that much money, so guess who got cut for hours? yep... you guessed it. i'm glad at lowe's i won't have to worry about that. first thing's first, i have to see when they schedule me. not to mention get a copy of my schedule. in fact, i'll get one right now.... anywho, so work tonite, thursday nite and saturday nite. not too shabby. friday i'm off again, so FISHING. i'm gonna enjoy fishing as much as possible b/c i know i'm not gonna have any free time once the semester starts. well that is all for now, if you wanna hit up the flats with me ( i could always use a buddy, fishing alone is so boring sometimes) then email me and i'll send ya my cell # so you can contact me. werd up.

Long absence
well after a lengthy absence from my blog, i have returned... not all that much has happened. monday i went home with a coworker to mcallen and stayed the day as you all know. then i came back. worked tuesday and wednesday nites and thursday i went to class for the first time. its gonna be a looooong session.
after class my 'rents and i loaded up my truck and headed for pins. stayed only bout 2.5 miles from the pavement... but it was fun.i caught 2 sharks... not huge ones, just pups, but still was fun to finally say I CAUGHT A SHARK...well 2. both were released to be caught another day when they're 6 ft + (i hope by me). all in all we came home with about 5 nice sized whitings and sand in places you forget about until you get sand in there. like i said, it was fun. next time i think we'll camp further down. well we came back friday afternoon and washed up and slept. loaded up saturday and left for mcallen. 3 major storms were encountered on the way, most of which was blinding. but i finaly made it home after 3 hours. which isn't all that bad.
too tired to do anything once i got home, so i just chilled with the familia and had a nice time playing with my nephew. he busted my lip though ... little monster. i'll get him back... muhahahah. my dad got a call for the business so i tagged along to remember why i'm going to school... to avoid a job like that one. ha. left at 7:30 and got back two hours later. fun. but dinner was ready and chicken tacos were good.
sunday morning woke up and attended church. it was great being there. oonly thing was i wished it was the 10:30 service b/c 8:30... whoa. 'nuff said. anywho, gassed up and went to grandma's to pick up some tortillas and beans. :D went home, picked up my stuff and was out the door. got to corpus just after 1pm and relaxed a little before work. and now i'm home. tomorrow i'm pulling two shifts. 6 am to 11 and then 5 to 9 pm gonna be fun... i hope. after that first one i have class... so off to class and then back home to relax and off to work again. FUn. well... that is all for now. i'm gonna eat something and probably watch a little tv and sleep. sleep sleep. but on the bright side the truck is running great. maybe after class on tuesday i'll hit up the JFK and fish the adjacent flat. :D

well thanks for telling it you can view the page. i was beginning to wonder if the blog servers had had enough of my ranting and raving and decided it was time to blow up... i got home about 20 mins ago or so from a couple friend's houses tonite. I had a blast catching up with them, only a shame i get to see like 2 friends at a time. that's all... its alright though, i'll be back on saturday i hope. maybe i'll get to go out to eat something with them.
i know what you're thinking though... man that's along time to be out with friends... these friends of mine were great friends in high school.... its so easy to sit down and watch the time fly by with these people... i mean, you don't even know that time IS flying until someone looks at their watch and says... o crap i gotta work tomorrow at 6 am... haha.

should be leaving in the next 30 mins or so. hopefully sooner than later. for some reason or another i can't view my blog. so if you can see it, post a reply. i dunno what happened to the blogger servers... but it seems that they crashed. bah. anywho, i'm set to leave, and gonna be gone for a whopping 1 day. nice eh?

Going Home...
Going home for a day or so. gonna pick up my truck and see my twin neices which i haven't seen since they were born. not to mention give my nephew his spiderman chair i bought for him at the store. i think he'll like it. i hope so :/ if he doesn't i'll take it. haha.
after that, i'm bringing my parents back and they are on their vacation. should be fun. i'm making both of them wade the bay with me though. that's one of the conditions of them coming back with me. so that should be nice, even if we don't catch any huge ones, just to be all out there in the water.
When i get into town i'll give you all a call and see what's up for monday nite partying. i know most of you all have to work, as do i tomorrow nite though :D so i'll try to keep you up as long as possible :)

weird day
NOthing out of the ordinary has happened. it just feels weird to not be at work during the day on saturday. see for the past month or so i've been working saturday mornings and afternoons... and today they switched me to evening... which is a bit of a shock. so i slept in and now i'm just here. tomorrow i go back to my routine day or working all day sunday. so its all good.
on a side note, Team RockOn got another member today. so we're looking for one more from the S. Tx area so we can be a lan team. after we get atleast 5 for our lan team, we'll be attending the lans in the valley. fun stuff.
well time to go rummage for food, gl hf and be safe this weekend.

sitting at home
well if you read that much you know what i'm doing right now. i get my truck back on monday. i'm hitching a ride with a coworker to the valley and my dad tells me the truck is running just fine. today was the last day of my ss1 class and i start next wednesday (even though classes start on tuesday :) on my art class.. HA who would've thought. me in art. oh well. so yea, i start that and fun stuff.
on a side note, the 'rents and I are planning to camp out on PINS thurs nite. should be fun. hopefully we'll hook up with a shark. that's the PLAN. so yea, i'm just here. gonna go see about getting some food. i'm starving. i was gonna get a lotto ticket on the way home cuz my mom told me to, but on the way home i was brining a spiderman chair home for my nephew... so yea long story short, i didn't get my tickets.... bleh. well i'm gonna fish around for food. gg and don't forget to
